At the age of five Timothy Hoppe-Carrerra had his first set of bongos and took his first step towards entertainment. He graduated with honors from Canterbury School of the Performing Arts in Ottawa. Timothy headed to Toronto in the mid 80's to further pursue the Drumming DJ concept. During the first five years the Drumming DJ did live shows at Apocalypse Club, 23 Hop, Catch 22 Bar and Left Bank Bar to name a few. While being employed full time at the Diamond Club and Rockit Bar as a DJ, Much Music and CBC were interviewing Timothy for his unique uses of technology within the Drumming DJ performance. Timothy has worked as a Stage Crew member for bands such as Simple Minds, UB40, U2, The Fixx, INXS and Siouxsie and The Banshees. Timothy believes that Toronto needs an after hours experience which can rival the best late night New York private parties, and he feels that he is one to make that happen.
