Gurth, the adventurous chef, is an honours graduate of the Culinary Management program at George Brown College (Toronto). His career has led him to work in restaurants, spas, and wineries in both Canada and the United States. In Dublin, Ireland, he was the personal chef for a Canadian diplomat, creating exquisite meals with our country's delicious ingredients. Gurth was the director and lead chef instructor of the Harvest Kitchen Cooking School (Oakville, ON). His knowledge of food and the Canadian culinary scene has made him a valuable consultant. He assisted the production staff of "Emeril Live" as their Canadian culinary consultant and as the culinary coach for "Summer's Best", a new Cottage Life television show. Gurth is an active member of the International Culinary Tourism Association and the Ontario Cheese Society.
