The Art of Fashion is a foundation dedicated to supporting top-level, emerging Canadian fashion designers. The foundation supports fashion designers through an annual charity fashion show, networking events, online auction, Christmas trunk show and an upcoming online boutique.

Without the support structure available in places like New York, Paris and Milan, it can be a steep, uphill climb for Canada's fashion talent to realize their dreams.

However, in 1998, Michelle Planche, President and Founder of The Art of Fashion, had a vision and the drive to change all of that. Since 1998, The Art of Fashion has been raising the profile of the Canadian designing industry as a whole and has been providing incredible opportunities for emerging designers. They have been supported by some of Canada’s top fashion agencies, corporations and media outlets.

The Art of Fashion has supported many worthwhile charities For example, this year; the Foundation will raise funds for Rethink Breast Cancer.
